Thanks to the innovative design and technology behind every GROHE design, it probably goes without saying that it certainly won’t be a chore to keep it clean.

The kitchen sink is one of the most used features in any kitchen. It must endure a lot of use. It must endure a lot of life. It’s not only where you place your dirty pots, pans, and dishes, and get a glass of water from but also where you prepare food. This is why our stainless steel sinks are equipped with the GROHE Satin Finish, a patented brushing coat that creates a surface that is more durable, smoother and far less porous than conventional stainless steel, which makes cleaning your stainless steel sink from GROHE a breeze.

All GROHE stainless steel sinks are manufactured using AISI 304 stainless steel, which contains a higher percentage of chrome and nickel, increasing the durability against corrosion and rust. The highly durable K400+ series is made from marine steel AISI316, which is extremely resistant to corrosion, chlorine, and even acids. GROHE stainless steel sinks are therefore very easy to clean and take care of. After selecting one of many elegantly designed sinks from GROHE, here’s how to best look after and clean your stainless steel sink.

Step 1: Rinse the sink thoroughly before starting the cleaning process as this will get rid of any larger pieces of residue.

Step 2: Spray on your cleaner of choice, and ensure that the cleaner can be used on a stainless steel surface. We would recommend using GROHClean. This versatile detergent has been on the market for over 40 years and is ideally formulated to eliminate grease, dirt, limescale, and all kinds of residue on a variety of surfaces including stainless steel.

Step 3: Leave the cleaner to soak in for a few minutes before using lukewarm water and a microfibre cloth to wipe down the surface and clean the stainless steel sink. For tough stains, you might have to use a bit of elbow grease. Pay special attention to the area around the drain, the corners, and the space around the taps, those are the spots that are the most susceptible to residue buildup.

Step 4: Take a fresh microfibre cloth and dry off the surface of your clean stainless steel sink. You are now looking at your sparkling clean GROHE stainless steel sink!
