What is Tough Mudder?
It is an endurance event featuring mud runs and world-class obstacles, with teamwork, fun and personal achievement at its core.
When and Where?
As health and safety remains a top priority for both Tough Mudder and GROHE in the wake of COVID-19, the remainder of 2020 will see participants tackle Tough Mudder Challenges, a brand new, monthly virtual fitness adventure which will test strength, stamina and camaraderie. This new way of taking part has been engineered to recreate the incredible sense of accomplishment and euphoria felt by participants after completing a Tough Mudder course, all from the safety and comfort of their own back garden.

GROHE T&C’s - Tough Mudder ‘Shower of Champions’ Competition
Overview
1. Introduction
1.1 These rules apply to all competitions, prize draws, promotions, giveaways and such like that are promoted on and run through our website, social media channels or at events.
1.2 To enter a competition you must enter as directed on our website, social media channels or at the event.
1.3 Our competitions are free to enter (no purchase required, unless otherwise stated).
2. Eligibility and entry restrictions
2.1 To be eligible to enter a competition:
(a) entrants must not be our employee, officer or agent, or an employee, officer or agent of any person or organisation involved in the running of the competition, and you must not be a family relation of any such person.
(b) entrants must be above the age of 18 years and residents in the United Kingdom. For underage participants GROHE is presuming the approval of the legal guardian.
(c) participation through organised competition clubs or groups, organised services for competition entries, automated or multiple participation is not permitted.
(d) participation through counterfeit profiles or through the identity of a third individual is not permitted.
(e) if needed, participants will need to prove their eligibility for participation in this competition. If the participant(s) cannot prove their eligibility for participation in the given timeframe by GROHE, GROHE reserves the right to exclude said participant(s) from the competition.
2.2 The maximum number of entries to a competition per person is 1.
2.3 The maximum number of entries for a competition shall be at our sole discretion. Once this number of entries have been received, the competition will be closed to new entries, notwithstanding the published closing date.
3. Exclusion of participants
3.1 GROHE reserves the right to exclude participants without stating reasons who have given wrong or incomplete information or who have participated using illegal resources or who are acting against the terms and conditions.
3.2 This especially applies in case participants have violated the rights of third parties, ie. Submitting a picture or text to which they are not the entitled person.
3.3 GROHE has the right to ask the participant for a written statement if he/she is under suspicion of violating the terms and conditions. If the written statement is not provided within the given timeframe, GROHE reserves the right to exclude the participant from the competition.
4. Start and closing dates
4.1 The competition is taking place from August 1st 2020 to September 13th 2020. The competition ends at 00.00 am/pm GMT on 13th September 2020.
4.2 Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.
4.3 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
4.4 We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by us.
4.5 Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of all of these terms and conditions.
5. How to Participate
5.1 To participate in the competition, the user has to post a picture or video of themselves completing the Tough Mudder Challenge: “Shower of Champions” using the #showerofchampions on Instagram.
5.2 Postal consignments will not be included in the naming of a winner/ the winners.
5.3 Posts on other social media platforms or sent via other means will not be accepted.
6. Winners and prizes
6.1 One winner will be selected randomly on the 14th September 2020. The individual is only eligible to win one prize.
6.2 If a competition entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any entry restrictions, that entrant shall not be entitled to be adjudged a winner and will not be entitled to a prize in any circumstances.
6.3 Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.4 The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
6.5 The competition winner will receive a prize. The prize is a EUPHORIA SMARTCONTROL SYSTEM 310 CUBE DUO (26508000).
6.6 Competition prize winners will be notified of the competition result by email (if address is asked for/provided) or by direct message on social media (winners must therefore ‘like’ or ‘follow’ our social media accounts in order to be contacted about prizes) not more than 30 days following the closing date of the competition, and will receive their prizes not more than 90 days following that closing date.
6.7 Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the prize winner for 14 days but if the winner fails to respond to our notification attempts within this time or provide an address for delivery of the prize or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the competition terms and conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.
6.8 If the information requested is not provided to GROHE within the given timeframe, the participant forfeits the right to the prize.
6.9 In case the message with the nomination of the winner cannot be delivered to the participant, GROHE is under no obligation to investigate how to contact the participant; there is no claim to the prize by the participant in this case.
6.10 No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
6.11 In the unlikely event that the prize will not be available GROHE reserves the right to replace the prize through an equivalent one at their own discretion.
6.12 This prize does not include cover for installation costs, removal of current products or any other fitting related costs or fees.
7. Changes to the competition
7.1 GROHE is reserving the right to change or end the competition in case of unaccounted circumstances.
7.2 GROHE is empowered to end or pause the competition
7.3 In case a manipulation has been detected:
(a) If Facebook has changed their guidelines to run competitions on their platform and the competition in question is not fulfilling all requirements requested, or the competition was stopped by Facebook in any form.
(b) A compliant completion cannot be ensured, especially in the case of a hardware, software deficit, programming errors, computer virus or unauthorized interventions by third parties as well as mechanical, technical or legal problems.
7.4 GROHE is under no circumstances responsible for loss, deficits or delays caused out of GROHE’s scope of responsibility.
8. Publicity
8.1 We may undertake publicity activities relating to competitions and prize awards. The winner therefore agrees to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of town or region of residence in any post-prize-winning publicity names, surnames, towns or regions of residence and prize details.
8.2 All other personal details collected as part of the competition will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
9. Data Security
9.1 Personal information will only be saved to complete the competition. A transfer of data to a third party will only take place if necessary, to complete the competition, ie. the packaging and delivering of the prize. Once the competition is completed, all personal data will be deleted.
9.2 GROHE only collects data (except in the context of web server logs) from you if you provide us with this information voluntarily to use one of our services (e.g. ordering informational material, inquiries, product related processes, partner programs). This data is exclusively processed and/or used for providing the respective service. Where necessary for providing you with a certain service, your data may also be forwarded to Group companies.
9.3 Where necessary, service providers may also be commissioned by us to perform the service requested (e.g. f or the sending of informational material, provide technical solutions). These service providers are also bound by German Federal Data Protection Act and are required by GROHE to protect your data and ensure data is not disclosed to unauthorized parties and safeguarded to the legal standards. Your personal data will not be sent to any other third parties.
10. Ineffectiveness of clauses
10.1 In case any of the above-named clauses are invalid, all of the other terms and conditions still apply. GROHE reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time during the competition.
11. Limitation on liability / disclaimer / other requirements
11.1 All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and the decisions of GROHE. If the competition becomes compromised, hampered, interrupted, not capable of running as planned, rendered impossible of performance in any way or prevented, GROHE reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the Official Rules, to cancel, modify, suspend or withdraw the competition offer and/or cancel, modify, suspend or withdraw any method of entry, without notice, and select Prize winners from all entries received for the competition prior to or after the cancellation, modification, suspension or withdrawal.
11.2 Prize winner, by acceptance of any prize, agrees to release GROHE from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of any prize or while traveling to and from a location to obtain or use any prize. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts of any government or authority.
11.3 Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Any person who supplies false information, enters by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these official rules in an attempt to obtain any Prize will forfeit the Prize won and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
11.4 GROHE is not taking responsibility for data lost while transmitting the participation, for technical defects or lost, damaged or belated entries to the competition which are related to network, hardware or software problems.
