THE BENEFITS OF 2-HOLE BASIN TAPS
As the name suggests, 2-hole basin taps have two holes; one for the control valve and the other for the spout. How they work is that hot and cold water is mixed beforehand, then the water flows out through the spout. A 3-hole basin taps arrangement, on the other hand, is created with a central spout and hot and cold levers on both sides, hence the three-hole name.
Usually, 2-hole basin mixer taps are mounted to the wall with one hole for the control valve and the other for the spout. They’re a great solution for those who appreciate flexible positioning.
