Can I use the Wireless on either High or Low pressure?
Yes you can the 36022 or 36024 for low pressure pump fitted within the base unit and the 36023 or 36025 for High Pressure (Un-vented or Combination)
  • Top
What are the pressure range of both products?
The High pressure is 1.0 to 5.0 bar. The Low pressure is 0.1 to 1.0 bar
  • Top
Where can I fix the base unit?
The base unit can be fitted under the bath (with access), airing cupboard, in loft area
  • Top
Can I fix the controls within the wet area?
Yes but not in direct area of the spray/water
  • Top
    Is it completely wireless?
No there is a mains supply cable from a 3amp switched fuse spur or similar. There is NO wire between base unit and control
  • Top
How do all the parts communicate with each other?
They use radio waves that are digitally encoded so many can be fitted in the same area and will not interfere with each other
  • Top
What is the range the radio signal will work at?
    Max of 10 metres
  • Top
Will the pumped version work on a negative head situation?
NO the base unit MUST be fitted no higher than 10cm from base of storage tank. The shower head could be fitted in a negative head situation

Tell me about High Pressure products
High Pressure products are designed to operate with pressurised systems, which include mains supply combination boilers, unvented hot water systems or by a pumping a gravity system. A minimum operating pressure of 1 bar is recommended.
  • Top
Tell me about Low Pressure products
Products marked with HP/LP are designed for both gravity systems and pressurised systems. Minimum operating pressure is 0.1 bar is recommended which is a clear 1 metre vertical distance from the base of the cold-water tank to the water outlet.
  • Top
    What is a combination boiler?
This is a mains fed pressurised system that instantaneously heats the mains cold water. This requires no cold or hot water storage tanks.
  • Top
Tell me about Gravity fed systems
Historically, the most common installation in the UK and is identified by the use of a cold storage tank normally in the loft space. Some taps may have gravity fed hot and mains cold, which is common in the kitchen mixer.
  • Top
    What is a Pumped system?
This is a gravity system with the addition of a booster pump to increase flow to particular taps, commonly used in the shower. The larger the pump the greater the flow rate.

Tell me about Pressurised/ unvented systems
Less common installation, where the hot water is stored under the mains pressure. This requires no cold-water storage in the loft and its performance is dependent on the mains supply pressure. For optimum performance all mixers should be supplied with balanced pressures.

    What is a Thermostat?
A thermostat maintains an exact water temperature of your choosing, even when water is drawn elsewhere in the home.
  • Top
    How does it work?
The thermostat mixer value mixes the hot and cold water and reacts instantly to any changes in the supply, ensuring the temperature is maintained to within + or –one degree.
  • Top
    What’s inside?
Thermostatic values work by constantly mixing hot and cold water to a pre-selected temperature, so even if some one else in the house draws off water the thermostat reacts by rebalancing the quantities of hot and cold water to maintain the correct temperature. For convenience, peace of mind and economy all in one, a thermostat is a must.
  • Top
    Do I need a thermostat?
If there’s more than one person in your household, then a thermostat is a must if you want a safe and comfortable shower.
