It is true to be said, water is life and one of nature’s most precious resources, it inspires everything we do. Our top eco tips will ensure you maximise efficiency and get the most out of GROHE products.
GROHE RealSteel® is a core technology used in some of our kitchen taps. Those models that feature this technology are made from solid 18/10 stainless steel; they are hygienic because of the ultra smooth surface, robust and reliable – ideal for everyday kitchen use. This advanced material is mainly made of recycled steel materials that can be 100% recycled after decades of use and because only water is used to clean them it means it minimises the use of aggressive cleaning liquids.
You will notice that our commitment towards the environment not only extends across our kitchen range but all of our products, for example most of our thermostats feature an EcoButton which allows water usage to be reduced by up to 50% and because they are thermostatic they react quickly to temperature and pressure changes meaning showering takes less time resulting in reduced water and energy consumption.
The innovative pause function available on all wireless! showers is another example of how creating the perfect balance of technology and design ensures economical use of resources. Our ultra stylish Rainshower heads further enhance our focus on protecting the environment, by delivering the best showering experience but using the least amount of water. Our 130 and 160mm Rainshower handshowers use 8 litres per minute at a flow pressure of 1 bar, this is significantly less than a competitor handshower set which uses up to 20% more water and even our basin mixers with adjustable flow limiters, suitable for children’s bathrooms and cloakrooms reduce water usage.
Quality, design and technology is at the heart of all our products, we are so confident that they will last for years to come and by using the latest technologies and high quality materials we succeed in offering first-class fittings and showers to our customers.
