Easy to install or retrofit, this safe and efficient micro-thermostat can be combined with any single-hole mixer. Its small dimensions permit installation under a basin. To prevent tampering the thermostat can only be adjusted by the property manager.

Thermostat ensures maximum safety

Single-lever mixers, self-closing valves or electronic fittings are used for basins in public and contract environments. However, variations in pressure or failure of the cold water supply may result in an undesirable and even hazardous temporary increase in the temperature of mixed water.
Grohtherm Micro solves this problem by reliably limiting the maximum water temperature. Users are effectively protected against scalding by hot water which can exceed 60°C.
This permits easy compliance with hospital regulations and industrial safety standards as well as accident prevention rules.

Tamper-proof temperature adjustment

Temperature adjustment protection is twofold, to prevent tampering: Firstly, the cover can be replaced by an optional metal cover (47652). This alternative cover requires tools for removal. Secondly, the temperature adjustments can only be made with an Allan key.

Precise temperature control for pillar valves without water temperature regulation

When specified in combination with electronic or self-closing fittings without water temperature regulation, Grohtherm Micro enables precise temperature control of pre-mixed water and therefore reliable protection from scalding.
